For years Conner has been what he would describe as a “serial entrepreneur.” After finishing his college football career and earning his degree in finance, he immediately went into creator mode. He moved to Nashville, Tennessee to build a music career and along the way found himself creating businesses. After a short stint serving tables in the restaurant where he met Chris, Conner began creating and running businesses. From moving companies to Youtube focused Media companies, Conner fell in love with building. Human Skincare became a passion for Conner when searching for a way to help his own lifelong struggle with eczema. After realizing the effects of natural skincare, he knew he could impact the lives of others the way his was changed.

Chris has spent most of his life in hospitality. From small dining rooms to Michelin level service, he fell in love with making people feel cared for. That work shaped the way he sees the world. Hospitality is something you practice, not something you talk about.

In 2022, Chris chose to simplify his life and lived out of his car while working. Not out of necessity, but intention. The minimalism, discipline, and freedom of that season gave him a clearer sense of what mattered and what didn’t.

During that time, Conner encouraged him to build something of his own. They shared conversations about needing a natural skincare option and the desire to create something meaningful. From those conversations and from a lot of trial and error HUMAN began to take shape. The brand took a few different forms before settling into what felt true.
